Edit: in case you can't read some of the words.
the one at the top left says "We baked a cake. I made the frosting ^_^"
and the one on the bottom right says "But why today? My brithday was yesterday"

there's also a little japanese in the 1st 2 panels. The first is "Tadaima" which means "I'm home" the second is "Okaeri" which means "welcome home" or "welcome back" (if, that is, you can see them

) (BTW "Okaeri" is not formal, it's very casual...so don't go saying that to someone important... you'd get in trouble)

As always it's read from right to left.
